Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN) is a nonprofit with a mission to protect and empower immigrant survivors of crime and persecution. Our work is powered by volunteer service and donations from corporations, foundations, and donors. GAIN’s Guardian Circle is a giving society, recognizing the generosity of individual donors who give at least $1,000 to GAIN each year.
• Invites to all major fundraising and cultivation events
• Recognition in GAIN’s Annual Report (released in the summer of the following year)
• Bi-annual exclusive newsletters
Become a GAIN Guardian today!
All you have to do to join GAIN’s Guardian Circle and begin receiving your donor benefits is to make a gift of $1,000 or more or start your recurring donation of $85 or more each month. Starting in 2021, all donors whose gifts cumulatively add up to $1,000 or more in a given year will be given the opportunity to be recognized in the GAIN Impact Report for that year as well.
What is your fiscal year?
GAIN’s financial fiscal year runs from January 1 to December 31. Any donors giving $1,000+ in that year will be listed as a GAIN Guardian for that year, and will be included in communications, the annual impact report, etc. through the next year.
Do I need to make a one-time gift?
No. Gifts are cumulative and inclusive; for example, if you purchase an event sponsorship at the $500 level and give an additional $500 at georgiaasylum.org in the same year, your gift total is $1,000 and you will be recognized as a member of GAIN’s Guardian Circle. Even better, you can set a monthly donation of $85 per month or more to keep your giving active and make sure you stay a GAIN Guardian year after year!
May I opt out of recognition/ why don’t I see my name listed?
Sharing your information is your choice, and GAIN will only publish your name with your express permission. Before we publish the Guardian Circle list in our Impact Report, we will reach out to confirm each listing. We will only publish the names of the GAIN Guardians who confirm their name and listing with us, so that we are sure your information is protected. Unfortunately, this means we will not be able to list any donors who do not provide an email, phone number, or other way to contact them.
